- Is the data really mine?
- Yes. Everything you save lives in your tenant of a hosted Postgres database. We never train AI models on it and never resell it. You can wipe it at any time from the account page.
- What happens if I exceed the Pro caps?
- AI features stop working until the cap resets on the 1st of the next month. Identity autofill, job saving, and the tracker keep working. You can also bring your own OpenAI key if you want to bypass the cap entirely (we'll add this if there's demand).
- Does it auto-submit applications for me?
- No, and it never will. You always review and click submit yourself. Bot-submitted applications are a weak signal to recruiters and a fast route to a banned LinkedIn account. GetPeter prepares, you ship.
- How does the ATS resume check actually work?
- You paste or upload your resume on /resume. On any saved job, click “Check ATS fit”. A gpt-4o call compares the resume against the JD and returns a 0-100 score, present and missing keywords, and section-by-section rewrite suggestions tied to specific keywords. Results are cached per job so viewing them later is free.
- Can I cancel any time?
- Yes. Cancel from /account and you keep Pro until the current period ends, then revert to Free. Your data stays intact.
